life stuff Do you like books? Do you like to hear people read books out loud? Do you like to hear people read books out loud at cuter-than-cute bookstores like Book Soup? If you answered “yes” to any of the above, you totes have to come out Tuesday, April 21 and hear me read from my newest book Wish You Were Here: An Essential Guide To Your Favorite Music Scenes—From Punk To Indie And Everything In Between.
I’ll probably take the stage around 7 PM—and when I say “stage,” I mean “carpeted area in front of numerous folding chairs.” Try to get there early because you don’t want to miss out on the wine, snacks or pearls of wisdom I’m going to drop on your collective asses.

Great news for my L.A. peeps. I’m doing a reading of Wish You Were Here: An Essential Guide To Your Favorite Music Scenes—From Punk To Indie And Everything In Between at Book Soup on Tuesday, April 21. It starts at 7 PM and will go until one of two things happen:
1.) my throat gets so dry I can’t croak out another word
2.) I get tired of picturing everyone in their underwear and need to put on my shades
